This is the older 50B which is now the 50AS It has horizontal valves rather than vertical (see pictures). Ser#164795.
Excellent condition – 95%+ of the original lacquer with Hagmann valves.
This bass trombone has a 9.5 inch bell and duel independent rotors and plays fantastically. The slide is super smooth and has only minor player wear scratches on the hand grip. There is only minor evidence of one small dent having been removed from the bell. But it is only visible because the rest of the lacquer is nice, so you see a minor difference in the lacquer reflection. Overall, a definite 9-9.5 out of 10. It comes in the original Bach case also in very good used condition and a Yamaha 58 mouthpiece.
