Description
This Vintage Bach Stradivarius Mt. Vernon Model  43 Trumpet is in mint condition. It has just come back from the shop where it was completely overhauled and re-lacquered with our custom vintage lacquer. You will notice our custom vintage lacquer is darker than new modern lacquer which helps keep the vintage look. It has the original engraving on the valve casing which reads: “V. Bach Mt. Vernon N.Y. U.S.A”. Unfortunately, when the horn was overhauled the bell was too damaged to repair and was replaced with a Bach Stradivarius Model 37 bell. Please see the pictures. The bell engraving reads: “Stradivarius Model 37 Vincent Bach Corporation Elkhart, Ind. U.S.A.” There is a tiny bit of wear on the inside of one of the tuning slides but otherwise, the horn is in excellent condition. The horn comes in what looks to be the original case which is in good used condition. This horn plays just as beautifully as it looks! It has a big, dark sound. The valves are smooth as butter and super quick. It has great sensitivity in all of your dynamic ranges. This trumpet has great flexibility from top to bottom.
