Description
This Slingerland Radio King 6.5 x 14 Marine Pearl wood snare drum is the best condition we have ever seen on a vintage drum. It is all original down to the original batter and snare side heads, which still has the Radio King mark. There is almost no yellowing to the finish and the drum literally looks like it was pulled straight off of the shelves. This is a 1940-42 drum with the clamshell strainer and small beaver tail lugs. This particular drum was stuck in a closet after the original owner finished high school in the 40’s and has never been touched since. It also comes in a replacement case in good condition. The Slingerland Radio King drums are the “holy grail” of drums and you cannot find one in more perfect condition than this one!
